Though 1984 is a fictious story written over 50 years ago, its message is still relevant today. We all must realize Orwell's warning that he sought to make clear over half a century ago- at any time, we all face a common danger; that of conforming; that of losing our individuality, our thoughts, and all qualities valued in humanity.
