In this essay I will discuss three major points concerning social capital. First, I will state whether my community is rich in social capital, then provide evidence of why it is or isn't. Second, I will explain the factors that are responsible for the continuance or decline in social capital. …more people will be attracted to the community, more people won't leave the community, and more jobs will create more social networks which then lead into an increase in social capital. In all, social capital isn't just important to one single person in the community but it is important to everyone together in the community because the factors of social capital can influence what we do and what we do can influence the social capital.
