I can remember the first time I knew of Otto Frank's idea for the Secret Annex. Otto had been paying attention to the Nazis for quite some time, and had noted their strong desire towards the expansion of Nazi rule. …had died in concentration camps. I am now eighty seven years old and my memory serves me well. I feel honored to have been a part of the Frank's lives, and I continue to this day to tell the story of the Frank family, and my role in hiding them. And I will continue to do so until the day I join the Franks, and others who had died at the hands of the Nazis.
