Canada's role

Canada is a constitutional monarchy with a federal parliamentary form of government and a extensive market economic system. Laws are made by the government for the people, with the ruling body being that of the majority. The various economic problems of recent years have stimulated serious debate about the proper role of public policy. Parties on the political left advocating more control and state planning, while right side extremists lobbying the idea of deregulation or …

…the same equal opportunity. The government is in effect to give those people that opportunity so that they can be involved in the building of our nation. Today, in Canada we are at the focal point with a good equal medium between government control and personal freedom. A slight sway to either direction could upset this balance, causing a stalement in our economy, our pride and our position as a well respected and helpful Country.
