Carnivorous Plants I have chosen to do a project on Carnivorous Plants because they are, in my opinion the most fascinating type of plant. The plant slowly absorbs the nutrients from the rotting insects, and then in the autumn the pitchers will begin to die down. Some plants will then produce non-carnivorous winter pitchers. In the wild a lot of these plants are becoming very endangered and rare. Which is why a lot of people concerned with plant's are now home-growing them.
