Divorce is on of the most painful and unwelcome public topics one can address in our society. When a marriage is not working and there is a breakdown in communication, common goals or trust, many times this will result in a divorce, which can be a painful process, even more so when there are children involved. …communicate their feelings, they can deal with the divorce much better. They need to know that just because mom and dad are no longer married, that they are still loved by both parents. Above all, they should be told often that the divorce was not their fault. Children today will most likely have to face a divorce. The best we can do as parents is to keep the lines of communication open with our children.
