Threats When making a security policy it is important to identify the threats to the organisation. Computer systems are much more vulnerable to risk because of the power and speed of the computer. (c) Fraud, espionage, sabotage - The deliberate actions of individuals can result in significant loss, whether these actions are for personal gain or for competitive advantage. (d) Natural Disasters - Bad weather, earthquakes, fire, flood etc cannot be avoided, as they are a possible threat to any organisation.
