…what everyone calls the corrupt bargain but it may have actually started with the states. If the popular vote was in favor of one candidate then the electoral vote should reflect that. Instead people in the Electoral College probably changed their mind and voted for the other candidate. This is true in both elections. If the members of the Electoral College would hold true to their initial vote then these "corruption" may never have occurred.
