…is good advice. It encouraged the boys to be creative and to peruse their dreams. However it also encouraged the students to rebel and to be reckless and adopt a do as you feel attitude. Seize the day can be a Christian ideal depending on how you interpret it. It is good to make the most of ones life, to be inspired and enthusiastic but also to be reasonable and considerate in accomplishing one's dreams.
