I would sneak one into bed with me and when my parents were asleep I would snuggle up in my blankets and sneak the book out from under the covers. …a reader's perspective the illustrations cannot be valued when the lighting is poor. From a personal perspective memories of reading in the dark our special to me, it would have been better if I could have snuck in a flashlight for some lighting. Camping is a great example of a fun time to read at night. Just don't make it a habit like I did. Read in the dark only on occasion. Current Health2 November 2003
