…uncertain shortened future should be allowed to make this decision for themselves. Each dying patient should be free to choose euthanasia ( or not), if they wish, simply do to personal liberty. The government should not have the right to tell another person what choice to make. Isn't it true that we all have the right to "life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness?" People should be free to live their lives as they think best.
