…the views and beliefs held by the majority of our society. This in turn will prevent women from being stereotyped in regards to what they choose to participate in. If there is less importance on portraying women in the usual, overly feminine ways that are so common, the participation rate of female athletes will rise significantly and the separation between the sexes that has formed based on sport, will eventually become less prevalent with time.
