It is unfeasible to imagine that there should be such a mass effort to prohibit same-sex partners from fully committing themselves to each other through a bond that heterosexuals may comparatively take for granted. To express their union through the bond of marriage is a privilege they deserve to have because being homosexual is not synonymous with being incompetent, callous, and unequal; being gay, straight, female, or male is synonymous with being human.
