While still staying partially in her gender defined role that was so prevalent in the beginning, she also has a transformation in the smaller sense that when she found what she believed to be her ideal mate, many of her reservations seemed no longer as strong. She went out of that strict characteristic of the "good" woman and took on those of the more of the "modern day".
