Who is my American hero? Well, he's not famous like Martin Luther King, Jr., nor is he a president like George Washington. Most people don't think he's special, but I think he's special because he helps me through life and teaches me about responsibility. He's my dad; I love and respect him. …and I can already tell how much of a difference it has made in my attitude and problem solving. I can now handle even the most extreme problems more calmly and clearly. My American hero is my dad even though he isn't special to everyone; he is special to me. You never know! He could become President; then everyone would see why he's special to me, and maybe he would be special to them, too.
