…and used as protective structures for people until the weather is safer, sandstorms. Homeless people and refugees can't afford several thousand dollars. The Pod's are only built of water proofed cardboard, which isn't very expensive. Engineers could make the dome for more economical so that say a 10 foot by 10 foot dome cost $100, and several homeless people could buy it together for a small amount and they'd have semi permanent housing that would be weather resistant.
