…to help them get over their illness, in addition to the social history provided from her supportive family. I also learnt that they need more time spent with them, sometimes just listening to what they have to say. The most important thing I learnt was establishing trust between the two of you and letting them know you care. This will help me when nursing future patients I care for, making me have a better understanding.
