…This is a very difficult decision for everyone involved. Physicians are not only legally bound to the oath; they are morally obligated to do what is right. Without regard to consent of the willing, they are morally obligated to do what is right for the patient, the families and for themselves. Like many other ethical issues involving life and death in today's society, physician assisted suicide and euthanasia in general will be an ongoing debate.
