Plant adaptation in extreme conditions.

Although a few places on earth would seem impossible for a plant to survive many have adopted to the environment from millions of years of evolution. Most plant living on bogy marshes have a waxy cuticle on the out side of them which enables them to become effectively water proof. This make plants able to take in only the amount of water they need for photosynthesis. A very good example of this would be the water lily which is common everywhere.
