…and act justly, we do not act that way because it was born within us. Plato says that no man, when faced with the opportunity, could act justly and with morals if his actions could not be held against him. We would call the man, who could wear the ring and act justly, an idiot but we would praise him for his self control out of fear that we too maybe the victim of injustice.
