Police work- Quality vs Quantity.

In Chicago, a good police officer is determined by the work activity he or she does. Work activity can range from writing someone a parking ticket to chasing a gangbanger down a dark alley and arresting that person for a murder he just committed. …fit in with their fellow officers they need to distance themselves as being any kind of advocate for CAPS. Even after reports have credited CAPS as being the cause of the decline in crime rates in Chicago, it is still "uncool" to be a part of CAPS for many police officers. If administrators are able to convince the rank and file officers of the benefits of CAPS, perhaps crime rate could fall even more dramatically.
