In Alfred Hitchcock's film, Rear Window, the audience is confronted with the issues of privacy and loneliness. The movie takes place in New York City in the 1950's. The start of the movie and end of the movie is the same Jeffries is sitting in a wheel chair looking thru the window. But in the end the temperature is lower and he has his loving girlfriend Lisa Fermont.
