The Hispanic population is the fastest growing minority in the United States, accounting for 13% of the population in 2000. These children need to know how HIV/AIDS is transmitted, prevention methods, and they need to know where to turn for healthcare. <Tab/>What is the single most important societal concern? It is the issue that seems to cause the least concern: the alarming growth of the HIV/AIDS epidemic among minority groups, especially Hispanic adolescents.
