Summer Fun

Summer to me means being at the lake. The lake is okay, but with a boat it becomes an adventure. Boating gives you so much freedom. If it gets crowded on the beach you can head for the surf. …as we pull off the ramp. We secure the boat and make sure nothing is left behind. As we start to leave, I watch people packing up and shaking the sand from their bodies. They are stuffing things back into their cars trying to keep the dirt off. Then I look out the window at the boat and just smile. Then I head home to place the beast back in the cave until next weekend.
