Early Effects of the Agricultural Revolution. During the beginning stages of domestication humans had just begun to understand the process of cultivating plants and the domestication of animals. During this "Agricultural Revolution" the roaming lifestyles of Paleolithic hunters and gatherers became obsolete. Managing Crops forced humans to settle in areas where they could produce more from the land. Staying in one area for long periods of time allowed people to accumulate personal possessions. …people had the more food and surpluses they could expect. Also a new development was created from this concept. The act of taking the land of others by force, or war, became widespread in order to feed populations. All of these things that occurred during the early stages of the agricultural revolution led to the stage that we are currently in, and it all came from the domestication of animals and the cultivation of crops.
