The First Amendment

The forefathers of the United States of America introduced many radical ideas for their time. Some of their ideas can be found in the Declaration of Independence and in the Constitution; phrases like "All men are created equal; and "life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness" exemplify these ideas. …I can walk out the house with my hijab on and go to the mosque without being jailed. It means that I can enjoy my life and support for something that I believe is right and at the same time denounce what I feel is wrong. Over the years it has grown to become apart of me. I sometimes feel that I take these rights for granted and that I realize how lucky I am.
