"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy" by Douglas Adams - Book Report
"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy" is a wonderful, humorous book created by Douglas Adams that includes many funny, classic clichés about the galaxy and the future. It is about a human named Arthur Dent who was saved from the planet Earth which was being destroyed by the Volgons, by his mysterious alien friend from the small planet of Betelgeuse, named Ford Perfect. He was a hitchhiker that traveled the galaxy by
the brilliant marble-sanded beaches of Santraginus V, inhaling the heady sea vapors;... ...you can wave your towel in emergencies as a distress signal, and of course dry yourself off with it if it seems to be clean enough." This passage shows just only meaningless, questionable information. I would recommend this book to anyone who wants an extremely science fictional book with everything from a sperm whale falling from the sky to a manically depressed robot.
