The Life of Zelda Fitzgerald
The famous writer and artist Zelda Sayre Fitzgerald was born on July 24, 1900, and is one of the six children of Anthony Dickinson and Minnie Machen Sayre. Zelda Fitzgerald married Francis Scott Key Fitzgerald and had one child. Zelda was the youngest child, and recieved her name from a novel her mother owned. During her childhood, she was known as a "wild child," because she did exactly as she pleased. Zelda met her husband, the infamous
Hollywood, California, and began having an affair with Sheilah Graham. Finally he died in 1940 in Graham's apartment and at the time, Zelda was unable to attend the funeral or even see him buried. In 1948, on March 10th, a fire broke out in Highland and killed 9 patients including Zelda, whose body could only be identified by a charred flipper underneath it.
