In the years following the return of Odysseus to Ithaca, peace and prosperity reigned throughout the kingdom. Following the death of Odysseus, his son Telemachus inherited the throne and like his father, proved to be a formidable leader. Epilogue <Tab/>In this tale, Telemachus displayed many of the qualities that he inherited from his father, Odysseus. He showed no weakness or cowardly traits. He proved that he had acquired the strength, physical courage, and intelligence that his father possessed which enabled him to achieve his heroic goals.
