The name Wars of the Roses comes from the badges used by the two houses, the white rose for the Yorkists and the red rose for the Lancastrians. The entire war was based on
very well-written, though somewhat hard to understand, if brings out very good points and gives a great amount of detail. In conclusion, this book seemed quite accurate in the depiction in the Wars of the Roses. Lander did a very well job showing how The War of the Roses was fought, and beautifully illustrated how important power was between the two houses. He also showed how greed is sometimes greater than the tie between families.
