…are assigned to multiple posts for 14 weeks where experienced officers can provide support and assistance. Second they are assigned to a single post for 17 weeks working independently. Third they are assigned to a restricted to a restricted post for 13 week. The process of going through all of this training is to make sure the correctional officer is very well trained in his/her job. By doing this it will help in mitigating or exacerbating stress.
