The nature of Trade Zones in India.

Today, in India there exist eight operational trade zones with another ten underway. These zones are called Special Economic Zones that are a modernized version of the old Free Trade Zones and Export processing Zones. As we have seen that SEZs are the first step of achieving what the FTZs and EPZs aimed to and at the same time keeping the labor conditions, environment, technology and competition in consideration. It will be slow and some time before when all policies are implemented for the betterment of the country and for the people who work for that betterment.
