Since the time of the silent films until today, movies have shaped the way that we think of others, the world and ourselves. …the embedded ideologies of femininity in the 90's culture. To conclude, the characters in these four films are all accurate representations of masculinity and femininity of their particular eras. Each film demonstrates how gender representation exhibits the embedded ideologies of masculinity and femininity, and is closely linked to the beliefs of specific eras. Certainly, these films are perfect representations of gender and in turn are perfect to show at our Spring Film Festival, Sex Appeal.
