…was a very big part of the French Revolution. The people in Revolutionary France were fighting to reform France around the new philosophies of the Enlightenment. In order to do this the revolutionaries had to seize power and force these changes on people. They used force but they believed what they were doing was for the good of all the French people. They by revolting and using Enlightenment values created a new and better France.
