Television is almost as 'essential' as food to some or most people in their everyday life. And that means it has a very influential effect on the people watching it. If watching television is what causing these problems, then why not use it to find a solution to it too? Co-operation from parents or any responsible individual would also be needed to restrict violence caused from television, to other restrictions such as censorship, self-discipline and also awareness programs.
