for sex, race, gender, or age. By the early to mid fourteenth century the Black Death had run its course in Europe. Millions of lives were captured and left the European economy in a terrible state. The reconstruction of Europe's self esteem was glued by the idea of togetherness and nationalism. The Black Death exacerbated problems and added new ones for the European countries to battle with strength and hopefully overcome in the years ahead.
