…for democracy all over the world. Kennedy could have achieved even more success if his life was not cut short to such an early age. The Civil Rights Act in 1964 and the Voting Rights Act in 1965 were passed after Kennedy's death. Kennedy's politics were so moderate that he appealed to both Democrats and Republicans. He was eloquent, intelligent and good-looking and all of this helped to foster one of the greatest American Presidents in history.
