This is a creative piece where I write as if I am James Wolfe and it is in relation to the Battle of Plains of Abrahams.

…fate. He wrote an ending sentence to his life account stating that "[The paths of glory lead but to the grave]...Gentlemen, I would have written those lines than take Quebec." -September 12, 1759. It is important and significant to learn and read about history such as this, to go and relive the event by visiting the Plains and paying tribute. It is important because the outcome brought a country into being - a country called Canada.
