U.S. Still Needs the President's Energy Plan .

With the headlines and the TV chatterers directing virtually 100% of their time (and ours) to endless discussions of the probable war against Iraq and the faithlessness of some of the U.S.' allies, there seems to be no time for consideration of President Bush's comprehensive energy plan. …and unnecessarily expensive. With the Republicans in control of both houses of Congress and with nearly two years having passed since President Bush's energy plan was first submitted, it is time to enact the entire comprehensive energy plan the President has been urging for so long. Now, more than ever, time is of the essence. Removing Saddam Hussein is vital, of course. But so is assuring adequate, reliable, reasonably priced energy for our reviving economy.
