What is Art?

Art is any human creation, which shows expression of feelings through a particular medium. Art has to have meaning and it must obtain creative and unique perception both by the artist and by the audience. For example a common criticism today of some modern painting might be, "I could have painted that", implying that the work is less worthy of the title art. Art will always be open to interpretation because there are so many different sorts of art that exist. I think the definition of what is art will expand in decades to come because people will create more forms of art and our society will eventually accept them eventually
