What is war

War, might be good for absolutely nothing, but what does it mean? What exactly is war? The reason I am doing this project on war is because I believe a lot of people see war in different ways. And many may define the word war and several different ways. We hear it everyday. Kids play it on the playground. We hear it on the news every second. But what is war? The dictionary defines war …

Robertson once said "Men will ever distinguish war from mere bloodshed". In my research paper war, will mean armed conflict, between nations; hostility or struggle. But will also: battle, bloodshed, conflict, contention, contest, enmity, fighting, hostility, police action, strife, strike, struggle, attack, and combat. Because in my dictionary war is war.
