Why do fewer women subscribe to the idea that they are feminists in 2003 than may have been the case in the 70's and early 80's. Many feminist intellectuals have got so far away from their base of support that common people don't relate to their goals as they did in the 1970's and early 80's and if women are to resist social constraints and have control then feminism, of some form, needs to be strong and women need to move forward together instead of a few at a time.
