Our offspring in the YED plate grew with 4 out of 12 cells producing red growth for a 1:3 ratio. Once we transferred the diploid strains onto the MVA plate, again, 4 out of 12 did not grow or 1:3. These results not only reflect good lab work, but theses also coincide with Mendal's principles of inheritance.
